The Naomi Sugar Fund

The Naomi Sugar Fund was created to support our clinic and services to foster children.

Dr. Naomi Sugar was a pediatrician in our clinic, and the long-standing foundation of our team. Naomi's great passion was helping vulnerable children, and she dedicated her career to their service.  Through her compassionate and gentle manner, she was able to reassure traumatized children that they were in a safe and caring place. She has been described as  incredibly smart, deeply compassionate and totally dedicated to improving both individual lives and the community’s response to child abuse.

In July of 2013, Dr. Sugar lost her battle with ovarian cancer. The Dr. Naomi Sugar Fund for Child Welfare was created to continue to support her passion to help vulnerable children, particularly those in the foster care system.
